One Place Monitor Panel Reset (How to Calibrate RV Panel)

It would be nice if all the modern components you buy actually worked for a long time. But the only thing that seems to change with each passing decade is that products do not work as well as they used to and you are always troubleshooting or resetting different electrical items.

The reset operation is simple and fast. Just hold 3 buttons for 6 seconds then press each button individually and the panel should be reset. Don’t worry about the labels on those buttons they seem to do double and triple duties.

To learn more about this product and how to reset the device, just continue to read our article. It has the information you want to know about so you can use this device to its fullest potential and reset it without having to look the process up again.

What is OnePlace Monitor Panel

What-is-One-Place-Monitor-Panel

This is a vehicle monitoring device made for RVs. It is made by Precision Circuits a company that has been in the electronics monitoring industry for about 20 years.

The purpose of the company is to be a ‘total electronics solutions provider to the specialty vehicle industry’ (per their website). Their products, like the One Place Monitor, are made in the US and the company is headquartered in Illinois.

The OnePlace Monitor Panel system seems to come in a 100, 200, & 300 series, at least that is indicated by their One Panel product page. To get information on each level of this monitor, you have to click on a link to each page on the right side of your screen.

The link to all three is here.

Where To Find Manuals For One Place

Do not worry about searching the internet for the manuals for each level of the monitor. The company places a link to their manuals in the same set of links on the right side of the screen.

The manuals are easy to read and about 2 pages long each one. This means you may have to do some searching to get the rest of the information you need.

That is okay as we found a 7-page manual

at this link. We checked the 100 & 200 series manuals and they are 2 pages long as well. On their support page, the company has placed videos that show you how to use the features on this device. Plus, they also have a link to an app you can use. There is also a 12-page manual on that web page.

When you get to the support page, (link in the upper right-hand corner of the website), the 12-page manual uses a button on the upper left-hand side of the section to bring out a side bar that you can use for navigation.

It has a table of contents first so you do not have to keep going over the same pages when you can’t find what you need. If you do not want to use the feature, just scroll down and go over the same pages several times until you get the information you want.

We might as well just quote from the manual. That way there is no confusion and you know that we have not altered anything trying to provide instructions here.

On the 7-page manual that we used, these instructions were on page 7:

To Reset the Panel to Default

1. Press and hold all three buttons shown above for

approximately 6 seconds, until the above screen appears.

2. Press the Default Button (Water Pump)

3. Press the Exit Button (Battery Level).

4. The Panel will return to the Water Pump Display

Calibrate One Place RV Monitor

The support page has a file similar to the manual. You just need to put your cursor on it and scroll down to learn how to re-calibrate the system. The file is called the Digi-Level Tank recalibration and if we read their instructions right, you have to go to their settings page.

Here is what this instruction booklet says:

Recalibration is done from the Settings screen. To get to the settings screen, drag your finger down from the top center of your touch screen as shown with the red arrow below. Then press the revealed “Settings” button.’

Prior to those instructions, the company gives a warning- ‘ Recalibrating a tank while there is still water inside will cause inaccurate readings’. So you have to be careful when doing this task.

Getting to factory defaults is a simple matter. You just need to press the button that says factory defaults. That button appears at the bottom of the tank screen.

Finding a One Place Monitor Panel

We checked the company’s website and we did not find a secure checkout on any of its pages. They list a lot of parts and part numbers but that may be for your convenience and so you can find the parts you need at other retailers.

You may have to go through their contact page to see if you can buy direct. Amazon says they are out of stock and we haven’t found any other retailer that carries this product so far.

You can try eBay as that marketplace may have had some individuals placing their system up for sale. There are plenty of monitors and panels for sale but not One Place systems.

Some Final Words

When you want to monitor your water pump, tanks, and other systems, this might be the best monitoring system you can buy. It is hard to say as the company does not place a lot of information on its website.

Plus, very few people are talking about it. Normally when we write about different products, almost all RV discussion forums are talking about that product.

Not this one. It seems to be a well-kept secret.
