For the Norcold fridge, you may only have to turn the power off and back on again to reset it. But for the Dometic, and depending on the model of Dometic, you will have a reset switch somewhere near the top of your fridge or freezer.

The first step in the process is to NOT turn our fridge off. keep it running and go outside of your RV and find the fridge compartment. Once you find that look for the recall box with the glowing red light on it.
If the light is off or flashing the magnet will not help you. After finding the box, locate the clips and remove them gently. You do not want to break them. Lift the cover off and look for the reed switch which is on the control board just above an LED light.
Hold the magnet on the reed switch till you hear a click. After hearing the click check your fridge to make sure it is running again. Wait about 15 minutes before placing the recall box back in its place.
If there is a reset button or a simple power button, then resetting your Dometic or Norcold fridge will be a piece of cake. But, locating those switches or doing the reset manually can be a bit more difficult.
