The trouble is that the manual for this generator does not identify the model or type of spark plug you need. If you go to the Cummins store, you will see that the price for the right spark plug is over $5.
You do not have to pay that amount of money as the gas and LP generators are said to use the same spark plugs. You can go to any auto parts store etc., and find a cheaper model if you want.
The model number is reported as being- Onan # 167-1652 and the generator engine is said to be made by Subaru/Robin. Champion was a good brand to use and was effective in its operation for many years.

As can be expected, Onan, or Cummins, wants you to use their brand of oil for their generators. The company has put out what is called OnaMax oil in 10W-30 and 15W-40 viscosity and they cost $14.61 and 10.46 per quart respectively.
You may be able to find just as good oil in other brands. Changing the oil can be a bit of a pain as the oil fill spout is in a very awkward location. Or the motorhome’s design makes the location very impractical to reach
You may need a pump or along necked funnel to fill the oil tank successfully. It all depends on how the generator is mounted to your RV.
