Plus, it seems that Serta is not resting on any laurels it may have received over the past 90 years. They continue to make top-quality mattresses in all sorts of styles and with different controls and so on.
But the final word on how good they are is on you. If you are getting a good night’s sleep, are very comfortable, and have the controls you like, then it is a good mattress.
Getting your money’s worth is what it is all about and Serta mattresses seem to last a long time. Of course, some people put a topper on their model just for added comfort and not to overcome some problems with the mattress.

We checked the Serta website and they were full of good information. First, you can get a 120-day free trial and there may be some restrictions and qualifications you must meet before you can do this.
Second, Serta puts a limited 10-year warranty on all of their models. It doesn’t matter which one you buy, you are covered for 10 years of normal use. But warranty length does not tell the full story.
In general and under normal use, a mattress should last at least 10 years. Some may not last that long as one reviewer said the Serta lasted between 7 and 10 years.
Other reviewers have stated that the Serta mattress can last up to 2 decades or 20 years. Some other brands may last that long and they may not. Some with a 25-year warranty are said to last only 5 years so they can be hit and miss when it comes to longevity.
Also, how you use the mattress will play a role in how long it will last. Remember normal use is how the company defines it not how you define it or live your lifestyle.

Serta RV Mattress Reviews
According to one reviewer, Serta actually makes an RV mattress. Those models are called the Premium Horizon, Deluxe Adventurer, and the Standard Horizon. These mattress models are not receiving great reviews.
They come with a 2-year warranty which to the reviewer reflects on their quality. But most reviews we read focused on the regular Serta mattresses the company makes for traditional homes.
Those reviews have been outstanding and it has been hard to find a negative one. The only issue that was mentioned most was that while the mattress was good, the husband or the wife wanted a topper for extra comfort.
They were all very happy with the model that came with their RV or trailer. From the names of those mattresses, they were not the models we mentioned above. They were regular Serta mattresses and not the RV type.
One owner sold theirs as they were too used to a memory foam model and the Serta that came with their RV was not that type. They had no complaints about the Serta they just preferred the memory foam style.
Serta RV Queen Mattress
This company makes about 8 different models, according to their website. But within those models, you get the full range of sizes from twin to king. Also, you may get several design models for that particular option.
The iComfort Mattress in its basic format sells for $1599 in the queen size but the Serta EZ Tote Mattress sells for $549. All are well made and should fit your bed in your RV or trailer.
They also come with that famous 10-year warranty and may be eligible for the 120-day free trial period. Then the Serta Arctic Mattress will set you back almost $3500 for all of its special features that keep you cool at night.
Serta did not mention the 3 RV mattress models we mentioned earlier. That may be because those mattresses may be made through a partnership with Dometic. That is the models that are not getting rave reviews.
The reviewer had nothing positive to say about those RV options and you may be able to find them through the Dometic website if they are still available. These options are rated for a medium stiffness level and they are about 8 to 10 1/2 inches thick.
That makes swapping them out for a traditional mattress very easy. It may be a discontinued product due to warranty or other factors. We are not sure which RV models came with this type of RV mattress.
Serta RV King Mattress
Everything said about the queen-sized mattress can be said about the king-size option. The biggest difference besides the size of the king version will be the price.
The Serta Serene Sky™ Mattress comes in King and California King sizes with the latter priced at $849. This is the same price as the standard king model. The cheapest option is the Serta EZ Tote Mattress at $699 and there is no California King version.
The Shinola x Serta 313 Mattress does come in both options and their price is $1499 each. Then the iComfort Mattress is priced at just under $2100 for both versions. That is for the base models only.
All the prices we have quoted here come directly from the Serta website. It lists all the models of mattresses they sell currently and you just click on the one you want to see all the versions that particular model comes in.
If you do your own research, you will find that some people just did not prefer the Serta. They swapped it out as quickly as they could as it was not the right mattress for them.
Not everyone enjoys the Serta but we found that the majority of Serta owners did like theirs. Also, if you prefer this brand of mattress, there are Serta upgrades available from different brands of RVs. How much you will pay is up to them.
What To Look For in a Mattress
There are different qualities to look for in any mattress, including the Serta models. Here are a few of those:
1. Price- this mattress brand is not going to be the cheapest on the market. It is one of the best brands to get but you will have to pay for that luxury. Keep to your budget when you are looking for a mattress.
2. Longevity- memory foam mattresses do not last a long time. Most are replaced within 5 years after purchase. Toppers may not last that long. Look for a well-built mattress to get a lot of use out of yours.
3. Type of mattress- there are several types of mattresses you can buy. They are-- Foam, Latex, Innerspring, and Hybrid. The type of mattress you buy will be up to your sleeping preference.
4. Features- some mattress models come with temperature controls and other features. Pick the one that will work best for you as not everyone wants a cooling mattress feature when they sleep.
