There are many RV owners that have found Chins Batteries to be very good. Of course, they are taking the word of Will Prowse for the level of quality of this battery (watch the video at the end of this post). He was surprised that it was well-built and performed above expectations for the low price.
It seems that this battery brand is a very good battery. Its main drawback is that it does not come with a low temp sensor which can lead to problems for those users in cold states. The other drawback is that it is made in China.

Are Chins Batteries Any Good?
So far we have not found anyone saying that these batteries are like China tires. Those tires are said to be bombs and an accident waiting to happen. They are saying they are well pleased with the performance they have received from its use.
There are some people saying these batteries are no good but if the rumor about those people is true, they have never owned or used a Chin battery. This model comes with a built-in battery management system or BMS as well as a high temperature cut off switch/sensor.
It is supposed to handle fast and solar charging, the latter are the ones saying this battery is not good, and It is built to withstand overcharge, an over-discharge, over-current, and short circuit with excellent self-discharge rate.
For those concerned about the environment, this is supposed to be a green battery as it contains no heavy or rare metals inside. The biggest drawback is that it does not come with a low temperature cut-off sensor or capability.
Finally, while it is supposed to be 8 to 10 times longer lifespan wise than standard batteries, it is also about 30%lighter than standard batteries.
Where Are Chins Batteries Made?
This brand of batteries is made in China, as you would have guessed by the name, and it is made by a company called Enjoybot Technology. This name should be on the back label while the made in China is placed on the front label.
Their website does not list a location and only states that it has a warehouse n California. Their contact information is limited to an email address. It seems that their website is powered by Shopify.
It seems that they will send you a prepaid shipping label when you need to return the battery for any reason. But that may not be necessary as we found this battery brand on sale at Walmart and you may be able to return it there.
Just talk with Walmart about that aspect of the purchase. To get the label you need to use their email address and send them the details of what is wrong, etc. You can view this battery at Walmart at this link. It seems to be cheaper than the Amazon price when they are in stock.
Who Makes Chins Batteries?
The only information we have been able to dig up about the company that makes this battery is the name we got from the video linked above. We may not have heard it correctly but we are close.
Actually, we did hear correctly, and they are located at Zhangbei Road, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. They have a different website than the Chin brand but in looking at the batteries they seem to be the same just sold under different brand labels.
You can see their website at this link. As you will note, they are on Shopify as well. Their other website is https://enjoybot.com/ and both are more informative than the Chin website.
That stands to reason as the Chin brand is just an alternative name to sell the same battery. The difference between the two is that you have more contact information for Enjoybot Technology than you do with Chin but the latter seems to pay for returns while Enjoybot may not.

We did not see the 300ah battery at Walmart but included this one in case any RV owners, etc., did not want to go for the more expensive model.
Chins 300ah Battery Reviews
There are many owners that have stated that this battery does what is advertised to do. They are very satisfied with their results and performance. They like the low cost of the battery as well and the reviewer linked to above was surprised at the low price for all that comes with this battery.
There are other owners who felt that this battery model was low quality and that you get what you paid for. But not all cheap products are bad. In reading reviews, this battery seems to provide more respect for Chinese products.
At Amazon, out of 1128 confirmed reviews, 80% gave this battery 5 stars. Another 11% gave it 4 stars. 3 or fewer stars totaled the remaining 9%. So there are many satisfied customers associated with this brand and that may be because it is made by another battery company.
The biggest drawback to these batteries was the missing low temp sensor and cut off. Another big complaint was how the batteries were handled during shipping. Many arrived damaged and it was a problem to return them as you had to contact the company and talk to them before they sent out the pre-paid shipping label.
Chins 100ah LiFePO4 Battery
We provided the specs for this battery model already and it is the cheapest of the models you can buy from this company. Walmart has it on sale for just over $300 which is the same price you can find it on the Chins website.

You can try to buy one of the EnjoyBot Technology batteries through their website. The batteries are basically the same and you will get far more details about these types of batteries there than you would at the Chin website.
Chins Lithium Battery vs Battleborn
Battleborn is an American company but what it does do is not make its batteries in that country. Instead, they buy their components from China and only assemble them in America.
While this is so, Battleborn uses better components and has a longer lifespan than the majority of its competitors including Chins. Battleborn also provides a 10-year warranty for its products and that is good because they are very expensive models.
The warranty policy for the Chins’ is not so good. You will read about that policy in the next section. We checked the Enjoybot Technology warranty policy, and the wording is almost identical. There are some differences that make you wonder about the quality of the Chin battery.
We will place both warranty policies in the next section so you can clearly see the difference between these brands and Battleborn. One thing that separates Battleborn batteries from Chin’s and Enjoybot’s is that they have a low temp cut off sensor installed on their models.
They are known for being a smaller company that takes great pride in its products. They are also said to provide excellent customer service. This is better than Chins as you have to go through email only to contact them.
Chins Battery Warranty

What Temp is Too Low For The Chins Battery?
According to their website, their low charging temperature reaches - 31 degrees F. That seems to be the level for all of their lithium batteries. But the biggest complaint we found about Chins’ models is that there is a high temp cut off sensor but not a low temp cut off sensor.
This can cause many owners some problems during those cold winter months. The specs have higher temperatures listed.
Some Final Words
China is seeking to control the world lithium phosphorous battery market. They have more stockpiles than both America and Europe so they are working hard to produce batteries at a very low price.
Whether their products are better than the ones made in other countries remains to be seen. They are cheaper and seem to perform well. Not everything that is cheap is bad nor is everything made in China an accident waiting to happen.
If you live in warmer states, this might be a budget saver option for you.
